Crossing the Bridge

Bogeys Little Sundance Miss CDX (Missy)
12/12/06

Missy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on 12/12/06. She was a wonderful dog, loved by one and all. She and Bogey will always be remembered.

Our kennel was very much saddened on Valentines day 2002 when our first wire fox terrier, "Masons One Over Par Bogey" UD crossed over that Rainbow Bridge.

We will miss him terribly as he was the very beginning of our love for the breed. Although he was far from the Breed Standard, he was the love and life of our WFT family for 13 years.

Bogey was always such a happy dog and willing to please. Loved going to dog shows and being in the Obedience Ring. He brought smiles and chuckles to many a judge in and out of the ring, with his exuberance and good nature. He was loved by many people who knew him over the years.

We will miss Bogey terribly but know that he will be waiting at that Rain Bow Bridge to help welcome all those, be it animal or human over that same bridge.

We love you Bogey, Rest Well

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

"There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It's called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the bridge there is a land of meadows and hills and valleys with lush green grass.
"When a pet dies, it goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are made young again. The crippled or maimed become whole. They play with each other all day long. There is only one thing missing: the special person who loved them on Earth.
"So they run and play for days on end, until suddenly one stops and looks! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are bright and expectant! Quickly, this one runs from the group.
"You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him into your arms and embrace with unrestrained joy. Your face is kissed again and again, and you look into the eyes of your trusted friend who has been waiting for you.
"Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated."
